Geeta

Auteur, compositeur et interprète, Geeta créée compulsivement depuis plu­sieurs années.
Elle écrit de la poésie, chante, joue de la guitare, de la basse, du piano et créer tous ses
arrangements sonores et lyriques.
Influencée par le surréalisme, la chanson française, le folk, les trames sonores de film, elle nous
nous transporte dans ses compositions musicales ani­mées d’une énergie viscérale de nature tantôt
vertigineuse tantôt intime.

Fougueuse et sauvage, son intensité lui colle à la peau et se ressent dans ces oeuvres. Mais c’est sur
scène, où elle se donne corps et âme que la personnalité riche et com­plexe de Geeta prend toute
son ampleur.

 

Geeta, a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and poet from Montreal has been creating sounds and words since many years. She composes with a real, sensitive and raw vibe influenced by surrealism, movie soundtracks, spoken words, folk, jazz and soul.Themes of freedom, lust,madness, rebellion,creativity and life are present in her work. She plays all instruments on her albums, producing, recording, and mixing all on her own. She is well recognized for giving powerful live performances. She combines piano, keyboards and other different textures with english and french poetry.
